Is this normal for how adult teeth will come in?

Yes. The adult canine tooth is coming in and will normally push that deciduous (“baby”) tooth out of the way and it will fall out. It can take a week or more for the process. Occasionally, that baby tooth remains and there are 2 teeth at that spot. Ideally, if that happens, the baby tooth should eventually be removed. This rarely happens in cats...but happens frequently in small breed dogs. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach

Sometimes the adult canine teeth do come in before the baby teeth have fallen out. We hope that they will help push the baby teeth out as they continue to grow in but occasionally they do not and we end up with what we call "retained deciduous teeth". If she still has the baby teeth at 7 months of age, then it is unlikely they will fall out and it is recommended that the baby teeth be removed to prevent future problems. https://www.petcoach.co/article/retained-deciduous-baby-teeth/
