My dog shook his head, foamed, fell. Is it a seizure or emergency?

He shook his head rapidly side to side got disoriented and fell over had a lot of snot coming out of nose and foamed at the mouth. He was hacking a little like he wanted to throw up. The episode lasted 30 seconds and happened three times in fifteen minutes. He's been acting normal after getting and eating. Pet's info: Dog | Japanese Chin | Male | neutered | 7.5 lbs

Hi. This sounds like it could be serious. I would worry about either some seizure activity, some severe nausea, dizziness, or even ears. Lots of possibilities. But this needs to be addressed quickly. I would call your veterinarian for an appointment today. If they aren't available then I would recommend the ER
