Hello, thank you for question about Daisy. Rabbits have teeth that continuously grow. Routine dental care for trimming is very important to ensure that rabbits can chew and ingest their food properly. When rabbits do not have routine dental care their teeth can become very long and grow into their gums/cheeks as well as not align properly. This can be very painful and lead to lack of appetite. This can definitely lead to weight loss. If your rabbit has been losing weight or is showing other signs of illness I would recommend having her evaluated by a veterinarian. They can perform an oral examination to help assess her teeth and look for any other abnormalities. Hope this helps, good luck!
