My dog's back tooth is loose and rotten. Should I take her to the vet?

Hello, I was cleaning my dogs teeth and noticed that the very back tooth is rotten and is very loose. Should i let it fall out on its own or take her to the vet for them to take it out? Thank you Stephanie

Bella is likely in a lot of pain from her dental disease. I recommend you contact your veterinarian about scheduling a dental cleaning for her, during which they can extract any teeth that are rotten. See the link below for more information http://www.vohc.org/veterinary_periodontal_disease.html
