Is there an oral antibiotic that you can give a dog with yeast ear infectiom? Drops not working after 5 days.

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I’d give the drops more time. I have never used an oral medication for an ear infection unless it was a severe drug resistant bacterial infection. Oral anti-fingals like fluconazols or ketoconazole over an oral antibiotic would be chosen for yeast if absolutely necessary. If Molly’s ears aren’t better at day 10, have her rechecked. She may need a different drop or ask to be shown how to clean the ears and apply the drops. Good luck!
