My pet's ear mite treatment isn't working. What else could it be?

Pet's info: Small Animal | Mouse | Male | 0.06 lbs

We think he has ear mites and have asked a vet abt them and have given itch cream and things to kill the mites but they aren’t going away

It is not likely ear mites but probably fur mites or ringworm. Itch cream is not likely to help. The underlying cause of the itching needs to be treated. I suggest you call your vet and ask them about using a product called Revolution to treat him. If you did not see a vet that specializes in small mammal pets (exotics) I suggest you do that.
