My pet is scratching her ear more than normal, what should I do to know the problem

This sign could be due to an otitis, an inflammation of the ear canal due commonly to a bacterial or a mite infection. A clinical examination at your local veterinarian is essential to confirm these clinical suspicions and treat appropriately. Antibiotics drops or specific meds for mites may be needed.
