My dog has hives and is acting weird after Benadryl. Is it allergies?

Pet's info: Dog | Dogue de Bordeaux | Female | unspayed | 2 years and 8 months old | 130 lbs

Is this allergies ? I have given Benedryl doseage to her weight but she's acting very weird, hiding and sleeping in weird places like our bathroom.. have also given her a bath with hypoallergenic shampoo ):

It is always hard to tell by a picture but it does appear to look like hives. Hives typically are from allergies. I would recommend taking her to a veterinarian because usually an anti histamine is not going to be strong enough on its own. Most of the time a steroid is needed to decrease the inflammation. Hope this helps!!!
