Why does my puppy have bloody, mucousy stools despite diet changes?

Pet's info: Dog | Maltese | Male | unneutered | 4 months and 1 day old | 6 lbs

4months old puppy, started 1m ago with loose stools w/mucus and blood, no other symptoms. All vaccines and parasites meds up to date. All blood tests normal, parvo and giardia negative, Dx: colitis; Digestive diet+probiotics prescribed, 1 week later loose stools started. Changed to hypoallergenic diet, 1 week later again loose stools. Puppy has no other symptoms, normal appetite and eats only prescribed diet. This is an ongoing problem for more than 1 month.Pease advise what might be the problem

The problem is likely intestinal parasites. When puppies are dewormed they are given a general dewormer. It does not treat for every type of intestinal parasite. I suspect this may be coccidia, whipworms or cyrptosporidium all of which have different treatments. The fecal test should be sent out to a laboratory for testing. I suggest you start there.
