What pain relief can I give my old dog with bad teeth, no surgery?

My 13 yr old pekingese has extremely bad teeth. Anesthia to have it taken out us not an option for him. He weighs 9 lbs what can I give him for the pain. Pet's info: Dog | Pekingese | Male | neutered | 13 years and 6 months old | 9 lbs

If you are unable to have a dental performed on your dog you should talk to your vet about putting him on antibiotics for the mouth infection and a nonsteroidal antiinflamatory drug that will help with the pain. You can also feed him wet/canned food do it will be easier for him to eat.
