What pain relief can I give my old dog with bad teeth, no surgery?

Pet's info: Dog | Pekingese | Male | neutered | 13 years and 6 months old | 9 lbs

My 13 yr old pekingese has extremely bad teeth. Anesthia to have it taken out us not an option for him. He weighs 9 lbs what can I give him for the pain.

If you are unable to have a dental performed on your dog you should talk to your vet about putting him on antibiotics for the mouth infection and a nonsteroidal antiinflamatory drug that will help with the pain. You can also feed him wet/canned food do it will be easier for him to eat.
