My cat has a non-painful bald spot near her nose. Should I see a vet?

Hi! My cat has a very small bald patch vet her nose (in pic). When I touch it, it doesn’t seem painful to her. Do I need to take to a vet? What’s the difference between this and a sore? (i.e. sore would be painful?)

This could be from a rodent bite, or a tick bite or your kitty could have scratched herself there. I would watch it so see whether it gets bigger. If it expands, take her to the vet for an exam. But at this time you do not need to take her to the vet. A sore would usually ooze some fluid or be blistery or similar and usually would hurt.
