Hello, My 5 month old Cockapoo caught fleas! How do I get rid of them and how can I prevent them from coming back? Pet's info: Dog | Cockapoo | Male | unneutered | 4 months and 25 days old | 5 lbs

I recommend using a monthly flea preventative. You can purchase Advantage 2 at PetCo. I’ve found this product to be very effective. You can also get a monthly oral flea and heartworm preventative from your veterinarian. I would also vacuum your house often to clean up any that are not on the dog.
