My 5yr American Staffordshire Pitbull Terrier has been hacking since this afternoon..... Like something stuck in his throat or swallowed something that may have scratched and irritated his throat? I tried honey. ....no go. ...tried looking down his throat but he won't operate with keeping his mouth open enough to see down..... I even tried the dog Heimlich maneuver..... he is calm down since he's been relaxing but when he has an episode he just throws up clear foamy stuff ... No Object seen

It sounds like he isn't choking on anything, he could be hacking because he needs to vomit. You are seeing that when he throws up clear foam. Keep an eye on him for now, and I can give you a home remedy to try to see if that helps. Withhold food for 12-24 hours, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in his normal diet. If the vomiting continues in the absence of food, he vomits the bland diet, develops diarrhea, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, he will need to see a vet right away. Best of luck.
