My dog has itchy, red skin. What bath additives can soothe her?

My pug is very itchy, red and irritated. I was told to bath her in an oatmeal and aloe shampoo, but that is already what I use on her. Is there an additive i can put in the bath to soothe her? I’ll be getting an allergy test done on her ASAP. Pet's info: Dog | Pug | Female | spayed | 1 year and 2 months old | 30 lbs

I am so sorry that Rosie is so itchy. You may also want to try to give her some Benadryl. If she is 18 pounds then she can have 25mg (one adult tablet) of benadryl twice a day to help with itching. You can also try duoxo calming shampoo. This will sometimes give a little more relief. If the itching continues, I would talk to your vet about a stronger allergy medicine like apoquel and to ensure she doesn't need any antibiotics. I hope this helps!
