My cat ate craft glue. Is it toxic? What symptoms should I watch for?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Is fun gloo (glue/adhesive) toxic to cats? If so what's the symptoms? We just finished dying some eggs with sugar Crystals and fun gloo adhesive. We made a mess with the sugar trying to get them to stick to the eggs before the adhesive dried so I swept but I'm afraid I missed some and my car will ingest the sugar with the adhesive on it. The box said nothing about the adhesive on being toxic if ingested it just said to 'wash and dry hands' after smearing it on the eggs. So what about ingestion?

I would like to answer your question, however, just like you I cannot find any information on the "fun gloo adhesive" and without knowing what is in the glue I cannot tell you if it is detrimental to your cat. If you could look at the glue container for ingredients, and give us the ingredient list, I can try to help. An alternative would be to call : 24/7 Animal Poison Control Center 855-764-7661 $59 USD per incident fee applies
