My African Grey parrot is plucking feathers. Is this normal?

i have an african grey, she plugging her feathers a lot in and out season, i gave her a bath today and saw a gap at her neck, i am histerical at this stage cause it doesnt seem normal, we dont have a avarian vet close to us, is this normal should i send her to a vet. Pet's info: Bird | African Grey | Female

A veterinary visit is recommended to assess and provide a diagnostic/ treatment plan. There are several infectious diseases and metabolic disorders that need to be ruled in/out.
