My cat had 2 kittens 4 weeks ago and although I've treated the mother cat several times and bathed the kittens several times the fleas keep coming back! I don't have carpet only laminate flooring and only one rug in the front room so way else can I do?

Unfortunately, flea medications are generally recommended for cats 8 weeks and up. You will likely have to keep up daily flea combing (adding a little vaseline to the comb can trap the fleas so they can't jump away) to remove any fleas on the body, and try to see if you can locate a source of fleas in the house. Moving mom and babies to a different area of the house and treating where they were may also help reduce flea population as well. Fleas love to hide in baseboards along walls, so making sure you are vacuuming these areas, washing all bedding, and even treating outside spots along outer walls can help as well.
