Bloody brown liquid from my cat. Is it pee or poop? Vet help?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | unspayed | 8 lbs

I feed three friendly semi-feral kitties that come in the house and hang out for a while. I noticed some brown liquid with blood in it in my floor. I don't know if it is pee or poo. Is there some way for the vet to determine what it is without a urine sample? I don't know who did it, they're all acting normal

It could be diarrhea with blood in it. Yes, bring a sample of it into a vet, and there may not be a need for a urine sample. I'd take them all into the vet. Intestinal worms are very common in kittens, and would cause blood in the poop. I hope this helps.
