I adopted Luna on Tuesday, and what she always does is rubs on me, and licks me a lot. The problem is that she bites after she licks. If I move my hand away she goes for the other hand and does the same thing. She sometimes gets desperate and uses her paws to move my hand to her mouth and bites a bit harder. I don't mind the licking, but I don't want her to get used to biting me and thinking it's ok. I'm not sure why she's doing that, and how can I get her to stop?

When she does bite or nip, sternly say "No bite" and move your hand(s) away from her. Offer an appropriate chew toy instead. Praise and reward her when she complies. If she doesn't, stop all play and interaction and walk away. Wait until she settles down before interacting with her again. The key is to be firm and be consistent.
