Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Mediumhair | Male | neutered | 4 years and 10 months old
My 4 year old male cat had sudden excessive drooling last night with no other behavioral symptoms. Meowing has been slightly louder for a couple of days. Lets me pull lips back a little to see teeth. I can't afford a vet visit. Is there anything I can do without a vet visit?

Drooling can be from eating something that tastes bad, having swollen glands from a cold, or having something stuck in the mouth. If he's eating then there is nothing stuck in his mouth. Giving wet food and water should rinse out the mouth and keep him hydrated. I expect he is developing a cold or upper respiratory infection. Let him rest and he should improve over a few day to a week. Thanks for using Pet Coach to help you care for Oscar.
