Why is my dog breathing fast when sleeping? Should I be worried?

My French bull has had no breathing problems in the past but for the past few nights he has been breathing quickly when asleep. Pet's info: Dog | French Bulldog | Male | neutered | 1 year and 10 months old | 33 lbs

Dogs can dream, and their breathing can change in response to their dreams. If Loki is only having these changes while sleeping, I would suspect that is the case. Now if he starts having these breathing changes while awake as well, then I would be concerned and have him seen by a vet. I hope this helps!
