My puppy (5 mo) has this lump behind her ear it's really hard to see because her fur but it popped up out of nowhere I'm worried about it. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 5 months and 26 days old | 20 lbs

Although a picture of it would help to give you more specific answers, this lump/growth should be ideally examined by your veterinarian to have a definitive diagnosis. Your vet will examine it and possibly perform with an FNA (fine needle aspiration) or a biopsy. Differentials would include skin cyst, enlarged salivary gland or lymph node, infections or benign or malignant type of tumors (very unlikely given the age).
