What to do if your puppy ate chocolate candy and you're worried?

My puppy got into a lot of candy that was mostly chocolate. I’m worried. What should I do?

I would call your vet to see if they can see him now. Your vet will likely want to make him throw up and then monitor him. They may have to give him some activated charcoal or fluids depending on how much he ate. I would also contact the poison control helpline to give them details on the different types of chocolate and how much. They will be able to open a case for him for the vet to have the best treatment guidelines for him. I hope this helps! https://www.petpoisonhelpline.com/
