Hi my dog keeps shaking his head and if I touch his ear he yelps a bit is there anything I can do to help him. Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | neutered | 6 years and 2 months old

Place an e-collar (cone) on him to prevent rubbing or pawing. Have Bono physically examined by your veterinarian. A swab of the ear can be examined in the clinic to diagnose a bacterial or fungal infection in the ear. Afterwards, the appropriate medication can be dispensed along with an ear cleaner. Have the ear rechecked after 2 weeks of treatment to confirm resolution.
