Why does my 3-month-old kitten bite when I pet her? How to stop?

We have a 3 month old kitten that is biting sometimes when we attempt to pet her or hold her...advice?

It's possible your kitten is getting a bit overstimulated. Cats can sometimes bite or scratch when they get a little too worked up. You may see signs such as rapid tail flicking, stiff bodies, ears pointed at you, etc. If you do see these warning signs, giving your kitten a break to calm down, and then letting them approach you when calm can help.
