My puppy ate caramel M&Ms. Should I worry about chocolate toxicity?

My 8 week old American bulldog puppy ingested a handful of caramel m&ms. Will she be okay?!

Since caramel m&ms are mostly sugar, there shouldn't be a risk of chocolate toxicity. It can cause her to be hyperactive for a few hours from the sugar rush, and she may have vomiting and diarrhea. If this occurs for more than a few hours, I would have her examined by a vet so she does not become dehydrated. Make sure to keep any more candy away from her, since she might start hunting for it and get into more!
