My dog's ALT is 135. Is anesthesia safe for his dental cleaning?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 3 years and 5 months old | 7 lbs

my small dog is scheduled for teeth cleaning under anesthesia, his alt liver enzyme came back at 135, would ge be ok to go under anesthesia or should I wait until level is back notmal range?

Hello. This is not an extremely high value, but it might be prudent to put off the anesthesia for a few weeks & recheck the ALT again. Using a short course of the liver supplement, SAM-e would not hurt. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
