Why does my dog have a fishy smell and warm belly after a bath?

My dogs tummy feels a little warm and her vagina area in letting off a tuna smell why is that? I just gave her a bath less than a week ago.

The fishy odor is probably coming from her anal sacs. They are fluid filled sacs on either side of her anal opening. They are like scent glands in a skunk. The fluid smells awful. Dogs can get infections in the anal sacs and they can express the smelly fluid when they are scared. I recommend having them emptied by your veterinarian to check for infection and prevent the buildup of fluid. This is most common in smaller breeds of dogs.
