Pet's info: Dog | Poodle | Male | unneutered | 2 years and 2 months old | 11 lbs
Hello. I have mini poodle Hugo who only has 11 pounds. He is regularly checked at vet, and also regurarly dewormed. Can you give me advice how to make him gain weight. He is not crazy about dry food. So can I combine it with something, human food, vitamins? Maybe some particular brand of food? And how often can he have cooked egg and yoghurt? He likes that Thank you

A good first step is to make sure your pup actually needs to gain any weight. Your vet can perform a body condition score and let you know if he is at a healthy weight or needs to gain some more. Without knowing what you are currently feeding, you may also want to see if the food brand you use also offers a canned food line (most do). Adding in some wet food to his kibble may encourage him to eat and get some extra calories. Boiled egg and yogurt are fine to give as treats, and a small tbs full can be added to each meal if he enjoys it and it encourages him to eat.
