When do I change my cat from kitten food to cat food? Is there any major differences?

Hi and thanks for posting on Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Yes, there are some differences between kitten and adult cat food. Kitten food has more calories and has more calcium and other minerals in it needed for proper growth than adult cat food does. Usually, kittens can be transitioned to adult cat food around 9 months of age. I hope this helps!
