My dog's paw has a rash and cut, he's licking and itching. What to do?

What type of rash this? he has a cut on the backside of his paw too, what can we use to help him as he is trying to lick it & whines when we try to see it. he is itching like crazy too. Pet's info: Dog | American Bulldog | Male | neutered | 2 years and 2 months old | 75 lbs

Without a physical exam, it can be difficult to say definitively but it could be a rash from infection (bacterial or fungal) or it may have an allergic component. Place an e-collar (cone) on Cassius to prevent licking or chewing. Have him examined by your veterinarian. He may need antibiotics, antihistamines, steroids or a combination of the three to treat infection or allergies.
