Can my cat's ear hematoma heal naturally? What home care can I do?

Can I let a car hematoma in my cats ear heal naturally? And if so what can I do at home for it to heal ?

Hi, thanks for using PetCoach! Yes, over time the blood with in the hematoma will reabsorb. They are uncomfortable to the cat. The ear will be crinkled which isn't bothersome to the pet but may not look aesthetically pleasing to you. Ear infections are common causes of ear hematomas, so I would be sure you treat any underlying ear mites or ear infection in the ear. https://www.petcoach.co/article/ear-hematomas-in-cats/ Good luck!
