Get a topical once a month treatment that kills adult fleas AND has an ingredient to make eggs unable to hatch. Something like Frontline or Advtantix are great choices. Vacuum carpet and furniture the dog gets into once daily and wash bedding in hot water. Check out the article below for info and tips on why fleas can be so pesky to get rid of.... and most importantly get them on year round once a month topical treatment with a growth inhibitor to prevent flea eggs from hatching. Flea collars and flea baths only kill adults... the eggs and the environment are a huge component. I hope that helps you!
