Pet's info: Dog | Maltese | Female | unspayed | 3 years and 8 months old | 4 lbs
Our little one has thrown up a white fluid this morning. Could it be possible that it has to do with her medical food that she's been prescribed,Royal Canine s/o or something else? What do you advise me to do? Thanks a lot for your continuous help and advice.

If you just changed her food than it could be due to the food as a change in diet can cause inflammation in the stomach and intestines. If she is otherwise acting normal than you could withhold food for the day and then try a bland diet of chicken and white rice, if the vomiting stops. After a few days of chicken and rice, mix some s/o and gradually increase the amount until she is eating only the s/o. If the vomiting persists or she becomes lethargic she will need to be rechecked by your vet to determine the cause and decide which food is best for her. Your vet may want to run lab-work and take x-rays to rule out all possible causes of vomiting.
