For the last couple of days, my dog has been experiencing this kind of dry cough, like she's about to throw up, but she doesn't, and I'm starting to get worried because it's something that happens everyday and I feel like it's getting worse. It could be caused by an infection, heart disease, collapsing trachea, asthma, allergies, etc. The only was to know the cause is to have a vet do an examination. Your vet may also need to take a chest x-ray and run some bloodwork to help diagnose. Since it seems to be getting worse, please call your vet and schedule an appointment.
