Dog ear infection smells after drops. Does she need another vet visit?

Doctor Andrea. Bella wasn't out for a while since we're having a snow blizzard here and it's too cold outside for her. The vet examined her earlier and gave us the same ear drops for her ears to use for a week. Should I take her to the veterinarian again? She doesn't have the ear wax anymore and her ear is clean but it smells and the redness seems to slowly disappear too. Pet's info: Dog | Maltese | Female | unspayed | 3 years and 7 months old | 4 lbs

If the reddening and ear wax isa gone, the ear drops are working . If the smell is like beer or yeast, then she may have a fungal infection as well. that will need to be seen. You should have the vet recheck Bella's ears after the treatment (7days) to make sure the treatment worked.
