Why is my new foster dog breathing fast? Is it normal or concerning?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | neutered | 25 lbs

Hello, I'm fostering a dog and it's my first day with him. He breathes quickly, he's a terrier German sheapard mix. Its been like this all day and its kind of worrying me.

If it is not hot in the house and he is breathing quickly (more than 35 breath per minute) then it is abnormal and I would recommend taking him to the vet. If the house temperature is very hot, that might be the reason.
