Why is my cat still peeing outside the box after vet checks?

My cat pees everywhere I clean it and she pees in a new place she won't stop. What is happening I have taken her to the vet its driving me crazy she was litter trained and my aunt had her for a year and now she uses the box but she also pees outside even I have been replacing all the litter in her box every 2 days cleaning everyday I cant deal anymore its been 3 years

I can imagine how frustrating this is for you. I've dealt with this in my own cat, and it can certainly drive you crazy. If medical problems like a urinary tract infection, feline interstitial cystitis, and urinary stones have been completely ruled out (as these conditions are all painful and cause litter box avoidance) then you have to turn to litter box management as your primary tactic. It's great that you're changing out the entire box every day, but also make sure you have at least 2 boxes, and that you're cleaning both every 12 hours. Clean all of the areas she's urinated in with enzymatic cleaner (Nature's Miracle is a good one) to completely remove all traces of the odor. Also consider adding a bigger "box" such as a plastic storage bin with a hole cut in the side for her to go into and out of. If you want to talk further I would suggest a consult with one of our vets, as these can be challenging problems to solve.

    If Rabbit has not been checked by the veterinarian for any abnormalities with her urine or kidneys, this is your next step. You must rule out medical conditions since she cannot tell you why this is happening. If this is deemed behavioral, your veterinarian has medications that can help her.     I would start with getting all new boxes, Cat Attract litter, Feliway, and confining her to a small room to retrain her. Slowly let her have more access to the house. Moggy may also benefit from anti-anxiety and pain medications when she is having a flare up. This is something your veterinarian can discuss more in depth with you.

    That is a frustrating problem. Make sure the litter boxes are cleaned daily and place them near where she is going to the bathroom out of the box. I also recommend checking a urinalysis to make sure she doesn't have a urinary infection. iIf you clean up the pee area with a lemon or vinegar scented cleaner that sometimes discourages them from going there again. You can also confine her to a smaller area with two boxes so it's easier for her to get to the box when she has to go. Pick up bath mats and dirty laundry as they like to pee on those sometimes. If she has a urinary infection your veterinarian will prescribe medication for that.
