My white dog has brown spots near her eyes. Is it tear staining?

I am concerned about the brown spots above the nose, i think those are not normal. She usually doesn't has spots. Her fur was white in this area. The first picture is from the last week and the second one is from now with the spots.

Hi there and thank you for using pet coach to address your concern. These brown spots are likely from her eyes draining. This breed is known for tear staining and this can become a common thing to see. It does not cause them any harm bit can be unsightly for some dog owners. Products such as Ocubright and Angel Eyes can help decrease the staining. If she is rubbing her eyes or her eyes look red, the brown spots could be from an eye infection, and I would recommend that you have her examined by a veterinarian to see what the cause is of the eyes are irritated.
