Dog has scabby bumps on head, itching, and biting tail. What to do?

My dog has 6 bumps just popped up on her head they have scabs as well. She also started itching her belly and biting her tail. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 10 months old | 100 lbs

Hi, thanks for using PetCoach! Poor Bane! Since the bumps are scabbed and she is scratching it is likely that Bane has a bacterial skin infection. It could be from fleas, food or environmental allergy. Skin infections are usually treated with antibiotics and something to decrease the scratching (apoquel or prednisone). I would schedule and appointment with your Vet so they can take a look at her skin. You can try a medicated shampoo, bathing her 2-3 times per week and leave the lather on for 10 mins before rinsing.
