My hamster is sleeping deeply and hard to wake up. Should I worry?

I went to check on my hamster and he looked to be sleeping (breathing and curled up), but when I gently stroked him he didn't respond. Usually he would wake up inmediately but he didn't fully respond until I had scooped him into my hands. The room isnt cold so should I be concerned?

I wouldn’t be too concerned as long as he isn’t eating and drinking normally and still willing to play. If he seems overly lethargic I would have your vet take a look at him. Your vet will be able to ensure he is healthy and nothing is going. I hope this helps!
