My dog has a painful lump near his dew claw. Should I see a vet?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Yorkshire Terrier | Male | neutered | 8 years and 8 months old | 15 lbs

My dog has a mass near his dew claw. Seems to be painful and however, I do have it wrapped. I have been cleaning it regularly with peroxide and putting antibacterial cream on it. What can I do for him? Help :-(

This lump needs to be checked and analysed as there are many conditions and types of tumors that could look like that. take Pixie to the vet, they will perform a fine needle aspiration on the growth and send it to the lab for analysis. when the result comes, the vet will advise what needs to be done according to the diagnosis.
