My cat has skin rashes, hair loss, and dots near his ears. What to do?

He gets like rashes on his skin. Like dots it's almost like hair loss too. And should I be near him if he got rashes on his skin. And it's also near his ears too. He started getting it like recently like a week ago or two. What should I do. Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Longhair | Male | neutered | 7 years and 7 months old | 14 lbs

Hi there and thank you for using Pet Coach! What you are describing and based on the photos, I would suspect this is a skin infection. I would recommend using a shampoo such as Douxo PS chlorhexidine shampoo and bathe twice weekly until resolved. I would also start Welactin omega 3 fish oil and essential 6 spot on by dermoscent for cats. If the skin does not improve or it worsens, I would recommend that he be seen by a veterinarian for an examination and further diagnostics. I hope this helps guide you in the right direction.
