My cat has a hard lump on its head with a hole. Is it a wolf worm?

My cat had a small hard place that came up on his head it had a small hole that came into it the hair came out in a very small place where it was.then the spot went away but now it's back and just sitting there doing nothing it doesn't seem to bother him and just don't know what it is.my mom thought it was,a,wolf worm but idk

Based on what you are describing I was initially concerned about a wolf worm as well. These will burrow deep into the tissues and cause a local inflammation and sometimes infection. Typically these need to be removed surgically by a veterinarian. I would recommend taking your cat in to see you vet. If it is not a wolf worm it may be an abscess or cyst that needs to be addressed.
