My dog has a spot on her ear. Is it a scratch, bite, or other?

I noticed a spot on my dog's ear .. can't tell if it's an area she scratched raw, or a bite from another dog. Doesn't seem to bother her at all. I put some Bacetracin ointment on it. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Female | spayed | 65 lbs

Hi there and thank you for using pet coach to address your concern. If the area that you are describing is just a small cut or sore, I would monitor this for now. If she is scratching at the area, I would suggest picking up a plastic cone to put around her head so that she does not make this worse. I would also recommend using zymox topical ointment, which can be found online. If you notice any swelling or signs of discharge like pus then I would have this examined by a veterinarian as treatment Maybe required such as oral and topical antibiotic therapy. I hope this helps!
