My puppy was just neutered. Why is there white stuff in his poop?

My 10-week-old puppy was neutered today. When he had a very small bowel movement, it looked like there was semen mixed with it. Why?

It was likely a little bit of mucus from his colon which could be secondary to being anesthetized. I would not be concerned with this unless he continues to have this or his stool becomes loose. Anesthesia can slow down and change their gut some. I would make sure he is continuing to eat and drink normally. I hope this helps!
