My dog's breath is still awful despite brushing and remedies. Help!

Question

How do I help my dogs very stinky breath? I've tried to brush his teeth, give him bones and even tried something I got from the store to put in his water. I love this boy soooo much but when he opens his mouth I can't be near his face. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | neutered | 130 lbs

You've done a lot of good things to try to help with Blake's bad breath, but because they haven't worked, I would recommend taking him into the vet. He may have a tooth root abscess, severe gingivitis, or a broken tooth causing his bad breath. The vet can do a dental scaling, cleaning, and polishing, which will help with his stinky breath.
