My cat is meowing, coughing, and has yellow lips/nose. What's wrong?

My cat keeps meowing non stop there is times where she will cough a bit.and her lip and nose are getting yellow.what does she have?

Hi there! Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Sometimes cats meow just as a normal behavior. However, at times it is done in a way of showing discomfort of any sort. If she is having any sort of nasal discharge then she could potentially have an upper respiratory infection which at times can result in coughing if it continues to progress and also affect the lower respiratory system. However, it is hard to tell without more information including a thorough physical examination. The cough could also be a completely separate issue and be something like asthma, heart disease or pneumonia, among other possibilities. I recommend that you have your kitty evaluated by your veterinarian for further examination, assessment and ultimately so that it can be decided if she needs further therapy or not. Good luck!
