Pet's info: Cat | Persian | Female | spayed | 8 months and 12 days old | 6.83 lbs
My kitten came into her first heat on 17th of july, she was in heat for almost 6 days and then after 4 days she again came in heat for 4 days and again after abbreak of 5 days she came back in heat. Vet said this is common for 20 days. But now after nearly a month she again came in heat. Is this normal? Should I be concerned?? I was going to spay her but her heat period started and hence i cancelled it.

Operation in a cat can be performed anyway even if in heat. There are no major complications and technically is not more challenging as it would be in a dog. This long heat cycle could be normal anyway. Please do not hesitate to contact us again on the forum or by requesting a consultation if you have any more questions or to discuss it any further.
