Sometimes stress can cause constipation. Make sure she is drinking plenty of water. Canned food is good to prevent constipation; you can also add a little water or chicken/tuna broth to the canned food to get her to drink more water. She is still young, so you may be able to stimulate her to have a bowel movement by rubbing her anus gently with a warm wet washcloth. If she does not have a bowel movement in 24 hours, I recommend that she see a vet before the stool gets too dry and hard.

Try to wet a tissue with warm water, it may feel more like mum's tongue. Gently rub her vulva until a drop of pee comes out, and keep rubbing until no more comes out. then gently rub her anus. Since she hasn't eaten yesterday, there may not be much or any poo. But now that you are feeding her with formula, she should be producing. Also offer her some tinned kitten food in addition to the formula. You may have to put some on your finger and smear it on her mouth, ie , basically teaching her that it is edible. If she does not wee or poo by tomorrow, she needs to be seen by a veterinarian. Here is good information on how to raise a kitten: http://www.feralcat.com/raising.html
